The Cincinnati Bengals, stuck at 1-9-1, continue to send players to the injured reserve list.
The latest guys to land on IR are guard Andrew Whitworth and guard/tackle Scott Kooistra. Both were injured during the Week Eleven tie with the Eagles.
Whitworth started ten games, and is best known for getting his face raked like Curly by Jags defensive tackle John Henderson.
The Bengals have filled the two roster spots by signing cornerback Geoffrey Pope from their own practice squad, and by pilfering rookie tackle Kirk Barton from the Dolphins’ practice squad.

I think they need to put Marvin Lewis on permanent IR. How does this guy and Herman Edwards still have jobs in the NFL? They have both proved that they can take bad football teams and make them worst. I wouldn’t even throw either of these guys a Rooney interview if i had a vacancy at Head Coach. They are terrible head coaches and some of the worst talent evaluators in the league. The sooner both of them are gone, the sooner those teams might begin to have a chance at success.
