RAVENS-BENGALS ONE-LINERS

Posted by Tim MacMahon on 12/1/08, 2:30 p.m.

The Ravens’ 34-3 rout of the Bengals was Baltimore’s biggest margin of victory over an AFC North opponent since 2003.

WR Mark Clayton made a bunch of big plays against the Bengals, including a touchdown catch and touchdown pass.

RB Willis McGahee was active but did not play for “strategic” reasons, coach John Harbaugh said.

QB Joe Flacco is throwing the ball downfield, a major sign of progress for a rookie who threw checkdowns on a regular basis earlier this season.

The Ravens held the Bengals to 155 total yards, one more than in Baltimore’s season-opening win over Cincinnati.

I got my butt kicked,” Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said.

CB Leon Hall gave up long touchdown passes to Derrick Mason and Mark Clayton.

Willie Anderson, a longtime Bengal cut in August, started at right tackle for a Ravens offense that racked up 451 yards.

The Bengals tied team records for most punts (11) and fewest first downs (6) in a game.

QB Jordan Palmer promptly threw an interception after getting a standing ovation when he entered the game.

Marvin’s gotta be outta there. Cincy can’t run, pass, or play defense.

Jordan Palmer looked promising. Like Carson with a beard.

Would these ’strategic’ reasons have anything to do with my fantasy team?

This is one of the most competitive teams I have seen in years! Marvin, you have our vote of confidence.

If Marvin has any balls he will stand up at the end of the season and publicly demand more scouts, more control and that the team hire a competent GM. Mike Brown is flushing what’s left of Lewis’ reputation down the crapper.

Sure glad we brought back Chris Henry and cut Willie. Brown is a freaking inbred moron.
